Phillies vs Seminoles Review
Yeah! Even though it is against a college team, it is still a win. So Let’s Go Eat!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Dominic Brown is looking to get back with the big club and his stolen base was a nice start.
Jake Diekman was on the hill today.
Austin Hyatt was the starting pitcher.
Hector Luna capped off a 5 run 7th inning with a two run blast
John Mayberry looks ready to play first base if needed.
Lets go Eat. Is it me or does Hunter look different?
FSU SEMINOLES AT PHILADELPHIA PHILLIES IN BRIGHT HOUSE NETWORKS FIELD IN CLEARWATER
Ohmygod! It’s baseball time!!! Even if it’s an exhibition of an exhibition game against a college team, it is still MLB. Based on last year, the Phillies will win by over 5 runs and minor leaguers will pitch the entire time. I will sadly be at school so I can’t sit in front of MLB Gameday on the Mac. Also, MLB At Bat comes out tomorrow. So yeah!!!
Flyers Practice- February 20th, 2012
On February 20th, I went to Flyers practice in Voorhees, New Jersey.
Before we start off, I want to mention that midway though, my phone ran out of data. My other pictures are on my moms phone and I don’t have it to sync now. I just can’t win. Anyway, I am I Flyers fan but unlike the Phillies, I can’t identify all of the players. So if anyone knows who they are, great, help me out! At the beginning, someone came out and stretched near the boards.
Max Talbot skated by us, we got a great view of him.
Here is Claude Giroux in the orange.
Jakub Vorachek passed a puck and we were right in front of him.
Sergei Bobrovski was warming up before saving shots.
Coach Laviolette (forgive me if I spelt it wrong) had a stick.
The team lined up to play a scrimmage style game.
I can’t identify this person but it might be Erik Gustaffason
OH WAIT!!! I Just synced the other phone so let’s pretend we didn’t see the last photos.
What is that leaning against the boards on the fans side? Oh wait, it is a puck tossed over the plexiglass by Jody Shelley.
Here I am with the ice in the background
The Flyers tooks shots on Ilya Bryzgalov
The view of the ice from Peter Laviolette.
Niklas Grossman was sitting against the boards.
Afterword we went to an area previously gated off from the fans. After asking a few times, a man went into the locker room and got us a puck. We went to Chipotle at the Moorestown Mall where I took this picture. On this Saturday, I will be back in Voorhees.
HOCKEY STATS-

I’m going to write an entry about Flyers practice in Voorhees. However, I am too lazy to sync my phone so it will have to wait untill tomorrow. Good night and keep the comments coming.

YEY! BALTIMORE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have gone to New York, Florida and Washington to see the Phillies on the road. Now, as you can probably tell, I’m going to Baltimore. On June 8th the Phils are playing the O’s and I will be there. I will go to BP at the flag court. I will also probably go to PNC this year. I’m going to write about Flyers practice in a minute but first, please comment. I really want a comment on my blog!
Thank you so much!
Wow, I Really Don’t Have Any Thing To Write About! MLB
So, we are going to look at every teams’ best giveaway items.
Philadelphia Phillies- The Phillies have great giveaways like Hunter Pence bobbleheads and Jon Papelbon t-shirts (I’ll be @ that game) but I don’t know what the look like. The flags, shirts and WB Mason trucks are used every yearand will obviousvly return. The Phils have good hat days every year and they’ve given away great items so I am choosing the Phillies Liberty Bell Hat on May 14th vs. the Astros. I will definatly try to go to that game so I get the hat.
Atlanta Braves- Nothing is on the Braves website.
Miami Marlins- Once again, nothing. This is dissapointing because I remember in 2007 when they had action figures and concerts and fireworks. You would think that they would want to bring fans into their new ballpark by givings away hats, shirts or bobbleheads
New York Mets- What do you think I’m going to say.
Washington Nationals- Finally! Nothing is pictured but we actually have giveaways! There is a tie between lots of items for DC. There are five shirt/ jersey days, 3 cap days (one is an retro hat day. I don’t know if its 1903 Nationals, Senators or Expos) and 3 bobble head days (including Stephen Strausburgh) to name a few.
Chicago Cubs- The Cubs have awesome items. There are winter hats and scarves to keep you warm when the Cubs are (hopefully) leading the NL Central at the stretch and Wrigley is packed. Also, bobbleheads, shirts and hats will be available.
Cincinatti Reds- Your collection won’t be complete without a cereal bowl or soft cooler. I am upset because in the last couple of years they have offered mesh BP jerseys for kids which are great for me to ballhawk in. There was a Phillips one 2 years ago and I believe last year was Scott Rolen.
Houston Astros- Houston has some of the best giveaways this year. As part of their 50th aniversary celebration, the ‘Stros will be giving away tons of merchandise. Shirts, hats, mesh jerseys, bobbleheads, bags, blankets, posters and even patches! You name it and the Astros are giving it away!
Milwaukee- I have the dvd called THE HOMESTAND that was a giveaway from the Brewers several years ago and it reminded me of HBO 24:7. The Brew Crew has a new dvd this year that hopefully meets the old one’s standards. Also Jon Lucroy and Yovani Gallardo will be represented in bobblehead form.

His head is as long as his shoulders!5,000 bobblers will be with the retro blue pinsripe unis instead of the the home jersey.
Pittsburgh Pirates- The Bucs have their normal tee shirt Fridays. Being a ballhawk, jerseys are key for me. Blankets, hats and glasses are pretty cool but the Neil Walker jersey is very nice. Women get a pink jersey and children get a replica jersey.
Arizona D-Backs- The Arizona expansion team has the regular shirts and hats and drawstring bags. Things that stand out are tattoo sleeves and keychains. I’d say that the coolest thing is the soccer ball. It is something unique that is not usually seen.
Colorado Rockies- Lot’s of “Year of the Fan” giveaways. There seems to be tons of dollar dog nights. June is the best month as it includes 3 shirts and 2 hats.
LA Dodgers- The Dodgers have ten, count it, ten bobblehead nights this season. Replica seems to be key in April because a replica Cy Young Award, Dodger Stadium and Uniform are given away.
San Diego Padres- Honestly, I’m really looking forward to 70′s night. The Friars are facing the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim so we will see some intresting jerseys.
San Francisco Giants- Something that I personally find really cool is September 8th. The Giants are giving their fans the Los Gigantes t-shirt that will match what is being worn by the players. Also they have orange friday giveaways such as a hat and texting gloves.
Note— As we speak, Erik Jabs just posted a new entry. I really hope to win.
Anyway, here is a picture of something with the Gigantes script
9:00- Just downloaded Phillies toolbar! Awesome!
9:01- Going to fridge
9:01 Got water
9:03 Yeah! Someone just moved on in the Amazing Race!
Before we keep on going, what is up with Tim Lincecums long flowing hair!
Texas Rangers- Just like their opponents in the 2010 World Series, the Rangers have the usual jerseys and hats. Similarly to the Cardinals who they played in the WS last year, they have a replica trophy. This is the 2011 AL trophy.
Seattle Mariners- I don’t know why but I thing that “Smoakamotive” is pretty cute and funny. So therefore, it is my favorite promo from a stacked schedule including multiple bags.
Being such a uni follower (and reader of uniwatchblog.com) the Athletics are awesome for me. Hats blankets and socks!!!
LA Angels- Multiple Pujols items such as bobbleheads and jerseys but there is a nice establishment hat. I would probably wear it.
Minnesota Twins- I find it odd that they are giving away beach towels at the end of August. They should have dome that in May. In April there is a Ben Revere bat. I don’t know if it is novelty or a replica of his real bats. If it is, it would look somewhat like this.
Kansas City Royals- I suspected that the All Star Game would be key and I was actually wrong. On May 5th vs. the Yankees fans get a George Brett pine tar bat which is pretty cool.
Detroit Tigers- The promotions did not want to load. I will update this later.
Cleveland Indians- The Indians have 4 replica jersey nights. Thats four more than my Phillies have (waa)
Chicago Whitesox- There is a cool 1972 replica jersey. Something that the Phils did was a catchers chest protector backpack. The Sox also did that this year.
Toronto Blue Jays- Batting helmet day is pretty cool.
Tampa Bay Rays- Just got a blank page
New York Yankees- Same as above
Boston Redsox- Same as the last two
Baltimore Orioles- Same giveaway shirts as normal and some some hats like a replica cap.
Yay! One thousand plus words!!! I did it!
Tomorrow I will write about myself and Spring Training
